We've had some issues regarding the use of Inquiry in place of Enquiry.
I am giving this advice so we can have consistent use of the word(s).
To make it simple, if possible, can we use "enquiry" in our emails when dealing with student enquiries or similar.
There has been an American trend over recent years for the use of the word Inquiry in place of Enquiry, however in British and NZ English, an inquiry is an investigation, while an enquiry is a question.
If we all use enquiry it'll keep things consistent.
Also, if you see inquiry written anywhere in our standard texts let me know.

In other -but relevant- news, just before i read this post i went to the mailbox and my Office dvd season 2 had arrived. Pretty excite, bad timing tho zams and all. But meh!
LIV you should trawl through aaalll the standard texts and find instances where 'inquiry' has been used and let him know.
